Eli
Part-2

Adolescence

She was going through the best time in Love. The attention and curiosity were driving her crazy. She was on a new journey.  She was flying and beaming in love. Slowly and steadily the affair started to spread widely and her parents and relatives got concerned since they thought she was young and vulnerable. But she was a rebel. She didn't hide her feelings and always stood strong with her belief. She was a girl who never cared for society's prejudiced rules and always tried to be strong to face the world. Her parents understood her new self and handled things in her own way mutually. She was clear that she was not ashamed of being in love for she believed that Love was the purest form of feeling that exists in the world.

Things went on and her partner did everything to make her happy but as they grew into adults the differences between them also started creeping in. Her partner left her to start his career for a better future for them at a young age. Eli became lonely and the only communication between them were calls and messages. The days turned into months and into the year. They started to meet for a brief time once a year when her partner visited her during his breaks from his work. Things changed and so their love. The pressure of spending life together was so much them that they started to drift away from each other slowly and steadily.

Eli was discovering her new growth mentally and physically. Her thoughts about life, career, love were taking a different shape. She was on the process of knowing life more closely. The long-distance relationship converted into fights and arguments. They started hating each other on every call and messages. Eli was confused with her life and love which she has chosen and lived by it. And finally, the relationship was overburdened with expectations, indifferences and ended on a bad note. It broke her but she also felt relieved from within. She felt that the phase was an infatuation and not love when she was too young to understand. She took that decision for the betterment of both.

.....To be contd
